Check out these picks and predictions for the contest.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is a 3.5-point favorite in the game, according to Tipico Sportsbook.
It writes: “I’ll probably stick with Texas A&M-CC. The Islanders finished off the season on an impressive run, and they’ve gone 12-1 over their last 13 games (with a lone loss to Texas A&M-Commerce). Texas A&M-CC is also doing well offensively with 75 or more points in seven straight games. As for Southeast Missouri State, they get credit for an excellent conference tournament run. That said, the Redhawks have given up 80 or more points in five of their last seven outings. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities available for the Islanders in this one, and I think they’ll end up powering out the cover.”
DraftKings: Take the over in SE Missouri State vs. Texas A&M CC game
It writes: “Both teams like to play fast, as Southeast Missouri State ranks seventh in adjusted tempo and Texas-A&M Corpus Christi ranks 80th. These squads are used to playing high-scoring games, and they’ll feed into that outcome on Tuesday. Texas A&M-CC was 19-12 to the over this year. SEMO went 21-12 to the over.”

Kevin Erickson writes: “Southeast Missouri State finished the regular season and caught fire in the conference tournament. However, it was an erratic team most of the season and one that was horrific on defense. The Redhawks are 317th nationally with 76.0 points allowed per game, and the Islanders will look to exploit that. Also, unlike Texas A&M-CC, SEMO is a terrible free-throw shooting team at 71.5% (184th) and that will be the difference here.”

Winners and Whiners: Go with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to cover vs. Southeast Missouri State
Michael Briggs writes: “SE Missouri State is as fast-paced as they come, but Texas A&M-CC can keep pace — and score with them, too. The Islanders are 19th in points per game and boast the fifth-highest FT% in the country. They’re also a much better rebounding team than the Redhawks. With this in mind, I predict the Islanders will win by five or more points Tuesday.”

FanDuel: Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 83, Southeast Missouri State 76
Larry Rupp writes: “Texas A&M-CC is one of the better 16-seeds in recent years, ranking 37th in offensive efficiency and 24th in points per game (78.3) this year. The Islanders play at a fast pace (No. 67 in possessions per game) as well and should pick apart a subpar Redhawks defense. Texas A&M-CC has won 12 of its last 13 games, so back the Islanders to get the job done in Dayton.”
