Caliente Contest
"Björn Again: The ABBA
Experience" comes to Centennial
Hall tonight. It's a stage show
that goes beyond the music of
the 1970s-'80s super group to
explore the egos and
relationships of the Swedish
foursome - Benny Andersson,
Björn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid
Lyngstad and Agnetha Fältskog.

The origin of ABBA's name has
two stories: One, they used the
initials of their first names; and
two, the name is a play on a
popular Swedish company
named Abba.

Both are true. The band was
originally named after the
Swedish company, but when
their career was booming
internationally - they went on to
become one of the most
successful international pop acts
ever - they realized no one
outside their native Sweden
would get the name play. So they
held a contest with fans to come
up with a name before settling
on ABBA. They eventually had to
negotiate with the company to
use the name ABBA.

Here's our question: In what
business was the Swedish
company?

Those who answer correctly will
have a chance to win a cookbook.

Tejano music showcase this weekend at AVA

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 10.02.2008
Tejano music has always had a decent following in Tucson.
Despite the city's distance from Texas, we've managed to become a hub for big name Tejano artists such as Little Joe y La Familia and Ruben Ramos.
Now, with the Tejano Showcase at Casino del Sol's AVA, Tucson has a chance to catch acts that don't often make it this far outside of the Lone Star State.
This year's showcase, running Friday and Saturday, will feature a number of popular Tejano musicians.
Friday's lineup will be a tribute to country crossover star Emilio, who was seriously injured in a bus accident earlier this year. Performers will include Emilio Jr., Raulito, Diego Navaira, Los Dos Gilbertos, Bad Boys del Valle and Jaime y los Chamacos.
Saturday's lineup will feature Jay Perez, Richard Castillon y la Difrencia, Chente Barrera y Taconazo, La Fiebra Reunion, Jessy Serrata and Brandy Bee Serrata.
Tickets are $35 for one day or $60 for both through casinodelsol.ticketforce.com.
